IGCSEs and GCSEs

IGCSEs are the most commonly taken qualification by 14-16 year olds, and our tutors have a detailed knowledge of the specifications.

We provide a full home school to students through the IGCSE and GCSE curricula, from exam registration through to the day of the exam. We create a structure for the student which has in mind their personality and best working times, together with academic achievement.

We realise that understanding and developing students’ individual skills and talents is pivotal to students’ success. The tutors are also able to challenge the brightest of students academically, and have previously delivered outstanding results.

Students are typically home schooled for a few reasons: because a school was not a good fit; because of illness (or a pandemic); because of sporting, acting or similar commitments; or while changing location.

When last year’s IGCSE and GCSE exams were cancelled, we worked on behalf of assessment centres, ensuring private candidates received grades and assessing them ourselves, so we understand the qualifications in depth.

Throughout the pandemic we’ve been providing IGCSE tuition to students alongside or instead of school and we offer a like-for-like replacement, which, through one-to-one tuition offers closer attention to learning and development than conventional schools.
